The Catholic Faculty of Theology at the University of Sarajevo has a long tradition of organizing scientific symposia. Since the elevation of the Vrhbosna Catholic Theology to the rank of a Faculty in 2009, the KBF has organized a regular annual international symposium every November, dedicated to a current topic in the Church and society. The symposium has an international character, inviting professors and experts from other theological and various faculties from neighboring and other European countries, in addition to lecturers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides the regular symposium, the Faculty occasionally organizes scientific symposia throughout the academic year.
